Uma V1

Uma V1 is close to completion! About 4 more inches before I start to decrease and then add the cuff. The Uma is technically a shrug...but way cooler. A shawl with cuffs is more like it. It doesn't have a full sleeve. I am totally winging it, no pattern. V2 and V3 will use patterns. Oh yes, there will be a series. Stay tuned. It is taking forever to load photos but will do so later.

feeling crafty, received some inspiration for shoes while strolling in the mission... sweet baby shoes. perhaps i'll start a pair.

then we spied a super cool shoe store for adults. COOL adults. i think a pair of sneaks are in david's near future. (!)

then i bought some sassy orange shoes for myself at a lovely used clothes store. ---------->

alas, i still dream of uma, and can't wait to hear tales of her debut, knowing she'll have a twin in san francisco.

no crafting going on for me right now, but i gotta say: i've gotten pretty crafty with tape, boxes, and packing material. over the years i've honed my spacial relations skills to the degree that would stun those teachers back in junior high who were flummoxed by my rating in the 12th percentile.

i've been working hard.

and i hope our arrival in sf proves that point. :)
