The "Michigan" Stitch

When I travel for work, I don't mind the flying. I DO mind the sitting around in airports. I can only sit in an airport bar for so long. If the bar had on cooking shows versus ESPN, that would be a different story. Last week, I spent 6 hours sitting in the Lansing and Detroit airports. I happily brought some knitting along and started this scarf. I think the stitch is called Knotted Openwork but it has been re-named the Michigan stitch.

love the new name--"michigan stitch" is way more interesting than "knotted openwork" (lame!)

you should figure out a way to develop a chain of female-friendly bars and insert them in airports across america.

you would make a fortune.
